SEWBCC – Sustainable Business: Sustainable Planet

The event was a fantastic opportunity to hear from both national organisations and local SMEs, all sharing their unique journeys toward net-zero. From the development of Carbon Reduction Plans to achieving B Corp certification, the stories and experiences shared were nothing short of inspiring.

The overarching theme of the day was collaboration—how businesses can work together to overcome challenges and make tangible progress. By creating a space for open dialogue, we explored the obstacles organisations face and surfaced practical solutions to drive change.

Andy Middleton’ thought-provoking session gave everyone a much-needed climate reality check and a reminder of the urgency of action. This set the tone for an engaging workshop, where we tackled three key questions:

1️⃣ What is the most impactful action you could do?
2️⃣ What is the most immediate action will you commit to?
3️⃣ What’s the missing piece of the jigsaw from your perspective and experience?
